  Please don't believe what the Jordan's says about the church. They may have personal problems or issues and or unforgiving spirit toward those people that unknowingly (did not mean to) hurt their feelings in one way or another when they didn't get what they wanted. People tend to feel hateful if things don't go well as they wish. The church is awesome. This is a bible believing family and military church. I've been here for more than 5 years now and I still feel very welcome. Of course, there's no perfect church in this imperfect world. But truly, I tell you, that this church teaches an old-fashion gospel baptist doctrine. An active church, lots of ministries from soul winning, convalescence, bible studies, vacation bible school, etc, etc. You will learn and grow your faith in this church. A truly family oriented church. Love it...

  Good place to slip in and out of main services but if you are looking to get involved in ministries this is a corrupt place. Growing up here I have stories to prove hypocrisy, double standards, and a abusive controlling nature of leadership. It has a strong military presence in the church which is cool but it is also structured like a military. You must where a uniform to prove your relationship with God.

  I went to the leadership conference one year, and it changed me. I was spiritual and physically exhausted from working as a full-time Social Worker and being a helper at my local church. I'm not a leader, but as a servant of God, I didn't focus on my relationship with God and what got me into the ministry. I went to the Leadership Conference to run away from my problems and instead I was renewed . God used their youth to speak to my heart, and the amazing preaching to correct my ways. They served us so well and had a smile the entire time doing it. I wish to do the same for those who come to my home church and provide the same care as they did towards me. I can still remember the message "Howbeit thou" which focused on Samson's fall and how God still used him in the end. I NEEDED to hear that. If you're looking for a church that is all about doing What GOD wants from the Church this place is it sooo many ways to serve and sooo many opportunities to minister and help others. Check it out.

  First off, they delete all poor FB reviews so only the 5 star ones remain. Before my review was deleted I was warned by someone else who also had their review deleted that it would happen. It is a cult hiding behind people blinded by faith of good works and righteousness.
  
  As a teen this place was fun of corrupt leadership. Teachers would pinch the butts of girls before going to events to make sure their skirts etc, were not to tight. A teen leader slapped a girl for arguing with her. The pastor of the teen group said "if you don't wear the uniform you can't participate in church activities because we are the army of the Lord. Every Soldier needs their uniform." The boys and girls are separated from singles groups to elementary school on different sides of the room. In all groups if you are single or young your conversations with the opposite sex are monitored by a supervisor. One of the Pastors for the main church , his elder son got a girl pregnant and instead of helping and accepting him with loving arms the entire family shunned them and they were kicked out of the church. That place is not good!!! Do not go there. Its leadership is not what it seems. If you like someone controlling your life and in every aspect and reprimanding you publicly all the while hiding their own hypocrisy, go there. This is coming from someone who grew up at this church. It was the worst experience that even my parents didn't see until it was too late. Don't believe the high star ratings. This is the truth of what has and is going on there.

  I love Lighthouse. It is a great church that is faithful to the gospel of Jesus Christ. If you want an old fashioned, sin hating, gospel preaching Baptist church you can't go wrong, this is the spot. Great outreach and loving people. PLEASE, don't confuse my family with other "Jordan's" who may give reviews. Mine is the "Doug Jordan Family" official position!
